Breaking New Ground 2009

Breaking New Ground is an annual forum for professional development geared towards Made in BC's presenter network, dance outreach coordinators, as well as dance artists and companies.

This year's edition will be presented October 16 - 18, 2009. Activities will be in conjunction with The Dance Centre's Dance in Vancouver, an biennial event showcasing & celebrating Vancouver's vibrant dance scene.

Also joining us will be the CanDance network (who will be holding their Annual General/Networking meeting right here in Vancouver this year), our colleagues at Ontario Dances, La danse sur les routes du Quebec, and representatives from other regions of the country. Together we're part of a special initiative to bring together dance presenters & dance presenter networks from across Canada - many thanks to the Canada Council's Audience & Market Development program for travel support!
